I was a stay-at-home mom and small business owner for 13 years. As my children got older and went off to school, I returned to school myself in order to pursue my degree in education. I embrace my natural inner dork, but it took me many years to do so. I played the clarinet and bass clarinet in both marching band and orchestra. I played basketball and softball where we went to the state finals my senior year. I was a PAL in both middle school and high school. Throughout college I competed on the mock trial team where we went to the Super Regionals 3 of my 4 years. I absoloutly LOVED competing! I continue to play on several co-ed soccer and basketball teams. I am also a published poet and I love to write music, poetry and stories, as well as sing. There isn't much I'm not willing to try at least once. Anyhow, I hope that you will enjoy learning in my class as much as I plan to enjoy learning the unique things about you this year!!
